WELCOME TO MIGLIO FOUNDATION

Complexity is the answer. Fractals are the key.

The Miglio Foundation’s Chimayó space is being designed as a place where creativity, science, and learning come together. Nestled in the historic town of Chimayó, along the scenic route between Santa Fe and Taos, this new hub will host exhibitions, educational programs, and community activities that connect art, science, and nature.

Exploring Art, Science, and Fractals

When complete, visitors will be invited to step into the fascinating world of fractals and discover how these self-replicating patterns inspire creativity while deepening our understanding of life’s complexity.

Our permanent gallery will feature the work of François Miglio, complemented by curated exhibitions and presentations from artists, scientists, and writers who share our vision. We are dedicated to showcasing individuals who integrate fractals into their work—whether through mathematical precision, intuitive creativity, poetic expression, or rational inquiry.

These exhibitions and programs are more than displays; they are opportunities to learn, sparking new ways of seeing connections between disciplines, perspectives, and the world around us.

When open, the Chimayó Education & Art Space will offer workshops, interactive programs, and events for visitors of all ages, fostering curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.

Immersive Student Experiences

The Foundation is committed to providing hands-on, real-world learning opportunities for students in art, museology, and related fields. Selected participants from across the United States will gain practical experience in museum operations, exhibition curation, and educational programming.

These immersive experiences bridge classroom learning with professional practice, offering mentorship, practical skills, and insight into the ways art, science, and education intersect in a living museum environment. Participants may also contribute to thematic exhibitions and events, deepening their understanding of the creative process and the role of a museum in the community.

Through collaboration with schools, universities, and other educational institutions, the Miglio Foundation ensures these programs benefit not only the students themselves but also the wider community—supporting public education, creativity, and cultural engagement.
