Chimayó Education & Art Space

The Miglio Foundation’s Chimayó space is being designed as a place where creativity and learning come together. Nestled in the historic town of Chimayó, along the scenic route between Santa Fe and Taos, this new hub will host exhibitions, educational programs, and community activities that connect art, science, and nature.

EXHIBITIONS

Step into the fascinating world of fractals and discover how these self-replicating patterns inspire creativity while deepening our understanding of life’s complexity.

Our permanent gallery will feature the work of François Miglio, complemented by rotating exhibitions and presentations from artists, scientists, and writers who share our vision.

We are dedicated to showcasing individuals who integrate fractals into their work—whether through mathematical precision, intuitive creativity, poetic expression, or rational inquiry.

These exhibitions are more than displays; they are opportunities to learn, sparking new ways of seeing connections between disciplines and perspectives.

LEARNING & COMMUNITY

The Chimayó space will also serve as a hub for education and community engagement.

Through workshops, interactive programs, and events, visitors of all ages will have the chance to explore fractals not only as works of art but as gateways to science, mathematics, and creative discovery.

The Foundation also invests in the next generation by offering grants that provide young people with resources and opportunities to grow, develop their talents, and pursue their curiosity.

In this way, the Chimayó space becomes both a gallery and a classroom—celebrating art while fostering lifelong learning.

LOCATION & EXPANSION

The Miglio Foundation is expanding with the addition of 2,000 square feet of space, including a dedicated video room and a permanent exhibition gallery.

This growth enhances our ability to showcase the profound beauty and versatility of fractal art and science, while also creating more room for workshops, lectures, and educational initiatives.

By anchoring ourselves in the cultural and artistic landscape of New Mexico, we aim to deepen our connection with the local community and attract visitors from around the world. Together, we can ensure the Chimayó Education and Art Space becomes a lasting treasure—a place where art, science, and education intersect in meaningful and inspiring ways.
